The Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort 2027 has been developed for players who like to attack, apply plenty of pressure at the net and consider power one of the most important qualities in a racket, but who do not want to play with an extremely hard and dry power racket.
Within the XPLO range, this is the more comfortable version. Its very high balance, hybrid shape and renewed Xplo Core² still provide the aggressive character the XPLO is known for. The main difference is the hitting surface. By using Fibrix instead of a full-carbon construction, the XPLO 02 Comfort gets a softer and more accessible medium touch.
You therefore keep much of the XPLO's power character while gaining extra comfort and easier ball output.
What type of player is the Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort for?
The XPLO 02 Comfort has been developed for intermediate-advanced, advanced and competitive players with a clearly attacking playing style.
It is best suited to players who like to move towards the net, apply pressure with volleys and bandejas and finish points with powerful smashes.
With a balance point of approximately 26.5 cm, a relatively large amount of weight sits towards the top of the racket. This gives you additional mass behind the ball when accelerating and creates extra leverage on overheads.
That makes the racket especially interesting for players with enough technical ability to handle a higher balance.
At the same time, this Comfort version is less demanding than an extremely hard carbon power racket. Fibrix adds flexibility and helps the ball come off the surface more easily at lower speeds.
If you want a light, low-balanced and extremely manoeuvrable control racket, the XPLO 02 Comfort is not the most logical choice. If you want a power padel racket for advanced players with plenty of weight behind the ball but do not want an extremely hard touch, this version becomes much more interesting.
Fibrix for a more comfortable touch
The hitting surface of the XPLO 02 Comfort is made from Fibrix, a combination of carbon and fibreglass.
The fibreglass makes the surface more flexible and comfortable, while the carbon retains enough rigidity to remain stable at higher speeds.
As a result, this racket feels less hard than a full-carbon XPLO.
At lower speeds, you get easier ball output and need less effort to generate depth.
When you accelerate fully, the surface remains firm enough to create plenty of speed and pressure.
Fibrix is therefore not really a compromise in performance here. It mainly makes the racket more comfortable and accessible.
MultiEva core
Inside the racket Bullpadel uses its familiar MultiEva core with different densities.
The firmer outer layers respond more strongly at higher ball speeds. This gives you a solid and explosive response on volleys, bandejas and smashes.
At lower speeds, the softer inner layer becomes more active. This provides extra comfort, control and ball output.
The racket therefore adapts better to the intensity of your shot.
On a defensive ball, you do not need to create the same amount of speed as on a smash, while at the net you still retain plenty of rigidity and power.
Xplo Core²
One of the key features of this generation is the renewed Xplo Core².
This construction forms one structure between the grip, heart and upper section of the racket. A reinforced central section and two upper fins increase rigidity.
This helps reduce deformation during powerful impacts.
That is particularly important in a dedicated power racket. The less energy lost through frame deformation, the more energy can be transferred directly into the ball.
During fast and powerful shots, the racket therefore feels solid and stable.
Thicker hexagonal frame
Bullpadel has also made the hexagonal section of the frame 3 mm thicker.
This adds mass and structural stability.
It strengthens the power character even further. When you drive hard through the ball, the racket remains solid and puts plenty of weight behind the shot.
Combined with the high balance, this plays an important role in the aggressive character of the XPLO 02 Comfort.
Wave System
With so much emphasis on power and stability, you might expect this racket to become very demanding from defence.
That is where the Wave System comes in.
This technology introduces controlled flexibility into the frame. During slower and defensive shots, it adds elasticity and creates a slight catapult effect.
That helps you generate easier depth when you cannot fully accelerate yourself.
As a result, the XPLO 02 Comfort is more manageable from defence than its high balance might initially suggest.
Air Power
Air Power helps reduce air resistance during the swing.
This is particularly important in a racket with a very high balance. The additional weight towards the top provides extra power but can also make the racket feel slower.
Bullpadel uses improved aerodynamics to reduce that effect.
This helps the XPLO 02 Comfort move more quickly through the air during overheads, volleys and fast reactions at the net.
3D Grain and Smart Holes
The hitting surface features 3D Grain, a textured relief that creates additional grip on the ball.
This makes it easier to generate spin on bandejas, viboras, volleys and smashes.
Bullpadel also uses Smart Holes, with the hole pattern designed around the specific characteristics of the racket.
Together, these technologies help support spin, control and stability.
Ease Vibe
The integrated Ease Vibe dampeners help reduce unwanted vibration at impact.
That is particularly useful in a racket designed for powerful attacking play.
Combined with the more flexible Fibrix hitting surface, this makes the XPLO 02 Comfort feel more comfortable than you might expect from such a power-focused racket.
CustomWeight
With CustomWeight, experienced players can further adjust the weight and balance.
If you want even more mass towards the top for additional power, or simply want to fine-tune the overall feel, the racket can be personalised further.
How does the Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort 2027 play?
The XPLO 02 Comfort feels powerful, stable and surprisingly comfortable for such an attacking racket.
At lower speeds, Fibrix, the softer MultiEva layer and the Wave System help the ball come off the surface more easily. This makes it relatively easy to generate depth from defence.
As soon as you accelerate, the character changes.
The firmer MultiEva layers, very high balance and Xplo Core² provide plenty of mass and direct energy transfer. You especially notice the additional weight towards the top on volleys and smashes.
That is what defines this racket.
It is not a soft control racket and it is not a lightweight all-round model. It remains a clearly attacking Bullpadel racket where power is the priority.
Compared with a full-carbon power racket, however, the XPLO 02 Comfort feels less harsh and is slightly easier to play when the pace drops.
The Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort 2027 is therefore mainly aimed at experienced attacking players who want plenty of power and a very high balance while deliberately choosing a more comfortable medium touch. If you want to dominate at the net and use your smash as a weapon but do not enjoy an extremely hard racket, this Comfort version is one of the most interesting power options in Bullpadel's 2027 collection.
