The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 has been developed for players who know exactly what they want: attack. It is Martín Di Nenno's padel racket and is one of the most power-focused models in Bullpadel's 2027 collection.
Its combination of a hybrid shape, a very high balance point of approximately 27 cm and a solid carbon construction allows you to put a lot of mass behind the ball. This becomes especially noticeable when accelerating on overheads.
The XPLO wants to move forward: take the net, apply pressure and finish the point.
What type of player is the Bullpadel XPLO for?
The XPLO has been developed for advanced, competitive and professional players with a clearly attacking playing style.
It is best suited to technically strong players who can generate enough racket speed themselves and prefer to decide points from an attacking position.
With a balance point of approximately 27 cm, a large part of the racket's mass sits towards the top. This puts plenty of weight behind the ball and creates additional leverage on smashes and other overheads.
Players who enjoy a heavier head feel will probably appreciate this immediately.
At the same time, the XPLO asks more from you when you are under pressure. From defence, you need to be able to manoeuvre the racket well, and the high balance demands more timing and technique than a centrally or lower-balanced model.
This is not a racket that does everything for you.
If you want a soft, easy and highly forgiving racket, there are better choices. If you want a power padel racket for advanced players and want to maximise the attacking side of your game, the XPLO becomes very interesting.
Hybrid shape with very high balance
The XPLO has a hybrid shape, but its character is mainly defined by its very high balance.
The balance point sits around 27 cm, noticeably higher than on many all-round rackets.
This places extra weight towards the top of the racket and creates more leverage on smashes and bandejas, allowing you to generate plenty of speed and weight through the ball.
The trade-off is straightforward: the higher the balance, the more it asks from your arm, preparation and timing.
The XPLO is therefore aimed at players who deliberately want to use that additional head weight as a weapon.
Carbon hitting surface
The hitting surface is built from carbon and gives the XPLO a firm and direct response.
At higher speeds, the material deforms relatively little, allowing energy to be transferred quickly to the ball during powerful shots.
You notice this especially when you accelerate actively.
On volleys and smashes, contact feels solid and you receive plenty of feedback. The ball does not stay on the surface for long but leaves the racket quickly and directly.
That suits the XPLO's aggressive character perfectly.
MultiEva core
Inside the racket Bullpadel uses MultiEva with different densities.
The firmer outer layers respond powerfully during fast shots and create an explosive response.
At lower speeds, the softer inner layer becomes more active and provides additional comfort, control and ball output.
This keeps the XPLO usable when you temporarily need to lower the pace, despite its clear power-focused nature.
Geometric Core
The Geometric Core reinforces the heart of the racket.
Bullpadel uses double diagonal reinforcements and additional structural support to increase frame rigidity and reduce unwanted torsion and deformation.
This is particularly important in a racket like the XPLO because smashes and hard volleys place significant forces through the frame.
The more stable the racket remains, the more efficiently that energy can be transferred to the ball.
CarbonTube and Hexature
The frame features CarbonTube, made from 100% bidirectionally woven carbon.
The thicker Hexature structure further reinforces the frame.
Together, these constructions create a solid and stable response, particularly during powerful impacts.
They help reduce excessive deformation and support the XPLO's direct power characteristics.
Air Power
A racket with such a high balance can easily start to feel slow or cumbersome. Bullpadel therefore uses Air Power to reduce air resistance during the swing.
This allows the XPLO to move through the air faster than you might expect based on its high balance.
That is particularly useful on overheads, fast volleys and quick reactions at the net.
The high balance remains noticeable, but Air Power helps prevent the racket from feeling unnecessarily sluggish.
Wave System
The Wave System introduces controlled flexibility into the frame.
During slower shots, this can create a slight catapult effect, helping you generate easier depth and speed.
This is particularly useful from defence.
The XPLO remains an attacking racket, but the Wave System helps ensure that you do not have to generate maximum speed yourself on every single contact.
3D Grain and Smart Holes
The hitting surface features 3D Grain, a texture that creates additional grip on the ball.
This makes it easier to generate spin on slices, bandejas, viboras and smashes.
Bullpadel also uses Smart Holes, with a hole pattern designed around the characteristics of the racket.
Together, these technologies help support spin, control and stability.
Ease Vibe, Vibradrive and Hesacore
Because a firm and direct racket can transmit more vibration, Bullpadel uses several technologies to improve comfort.
Ease Vibe helps reduce vibration in the hitting surface, while Vibradrive absorbs vibration towards the handle.
The standard Hesacore grip provides more contact with the hand and helps reduce the need to squeeze the racket tightly.
This makes the XPLO more comfortable without taking away its direct and powerful nature.
CustomWeight
With CustomWeight, you can further adjust the racket's weight and balance.
Players who want even more mass towards the top for additional power can personalise the racket further.
For experienced players who know exactly how they want their racket to feel, this is a useful addition.
How does the Bullpadel XPLO 2027 play?
The XPLO feels powerful, solid and direct.
At the net, the racket really comes alive. Its very high balance puts plenty of mass behind volleys and bandejas, and on smashes you can clearly feel how much support the racket provides.
When you accelerate well, the carbon construction responds quickly and powerfully.
Geometric Core, CarbonTube and Hexature keep the frame stable when you drive hard through the ball.
At lower speeds, MultiEva and the Wave System provide some additional ball output, so the XPLO does not feel completely dead when you temporarily reduce the pace.
Even so, it remains a racket that performs best when you play actively.
From defence, the high balance demands more technique and preparation. You need to get the racket into position properly and receive less assistance than with a lighter or lower-balanced model.
That is exactly the trade-off.
The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 has not been designed to please everyone. It is a racket for experienced attacking players who place maximum power at the top of their wish list and are willing to sacrifice some manoeuvrability and forgiveness to get it.
If you want to dominate at the net, enjoy playing with plenty of weight in the head and especially want to turn your smash into a serious weapon, the XPLO is one of the most uncompromising Bullpadel power rackets in the 2027 collection.
