Babolat

Babolat is a French tennis, badminton and padel company headquartered in Lyon, best known for its strings and tennis rackets used by professional and recreational players worldwide. The company has been making strings since 1875, when Pierre Babolat made the first natural gut strings. Babolat continued to focus on strings until 1994, when it became a "total tennis" company and also produced and sold racket frames in Europe. The company then expanded sales to Japan in 2000 and later to the United States. Sales of Babolat rackets increased rapidly in North America and Europe.
