Spanish extra virgin olive oil in BalanceOil+
BalanceOil+ is made with extra virgin olive oil from the Spanish Picual olive, selected for its richness in Omega-9 and its very high antioxidant content. Omega-9 (oleic acid) is an important property that normalizes blood cholesterol levels.4 The olives are of early harvested quality and the stones are removed during the process. Only the fruits are cold pressed, creating an extra virgin oil rich in Omega-9 (oleic acid) and a very high level of antioxidants called polyphenols (over 750 mg/kg). Mixed tocopherols are a commonly used antioxidant in dietary supplements. Pure vitamin D3
BalanceOil+ contains vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). We use a natural vitamin D3 based on lanolin, a natural fat found in sheep's wool. Vitamin D3 is produced by dissolving a precursor of vitamin D3 from lanolin. It is then chemically modified and activated by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. The chemical process is similar to the process that occurs in human skin when it produces vitamin D3 through exposure to sunlight.
